2012_the_hobbit_an_unexpected_journey-wideThe fight for Middle Earth rages on, as does The Hobbit remaining #1 at the Box Office this holiday weekend. It beat out new-comers Django Unchained, Les Miserablles and Parental Guidance. Raking in another 32mil, the movie also surpassed the 22omil mark! Tarantino and Foxx did come in a close second with 30mil, whilst Les Miserables was close behind with 28mil. Overall, not a bad way to end 2012.

With Skyfall, Avengers, and The Dark Knight Rises all passing the 1 Billion dollar mark this year, 2012 is the BIGGEST year in Hollywood movie history! It’s pretty astounding figuring this year isn’t’ going to be NEARLY as good as next year as far as great movies, so we can only imagine how crazy 2013 will be. It’s the start of Marvel Phase 2, another Hobbit, another Fast and Furious, Red 2, GI Joe 2, Sin City 2, Kick-Ass 2….well just a lot of sequels!
