Last month, we reported that Kevin Smith would be tackling his new film, Yoga Hosers. This week he started principal photography on the film and has added some names to the cast. Everyone who is involved in his current film, Tusk, will be along for the ride; but he also has a ton of newcomers. Top of the list is, Johnny Depp. Depp will star alongside his daughter, Lily-Rose Depp, as well as, Smith’s own daughter, Harley Quinn.
Smith talks about Yoga Hosers:
Like Tusk, [‘Yoga-Hosers’] sprang out of a podcast. There are two characters in a convenience store in ‘Tusk’ that you see for five minutes, very much Ronsencrantz and Guildenstern. I’ve built a whole movie around them and I have brought one of the other characters from Tusk back.
Yoga Hosers is currently filming and stars: Michael Parks, Justin Long, Haley Joel Osment, Genesis Rodriguez, Ralph Garman, Jennifer Schwalbach and Harley Morenstein. In addition to those from the Tusk cast, the other newcomers are: Tony Hale, Natasha Lyonne, Austin Butler, Adam Brody, Tyler Posey and Jason Mewes.
