Bioware announced a new IP that was teased during their E3 press conference. The project now has a name – Shadow Realms.
The game will center around four heroes and one bad guy, all of which will be playable. The game footage reveals each character with their own special abilities. The setting? A fairly normal looking city.
The game is inspired by traditional pen and paper gaming and you can see the GamesCom trailer below.
The Austin division of the company will be spearheading the effort. Bioware’s previous adventure into the world of online RPG’s was the MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic which went to a free-to-play model after the game failed to meet expectations.
