I can’t believe that the first Sin City movie was back in 2005. I think the over abundance of CGI made it easy for it to hold up throughout the years. Maybe the lack of color as well. Whatever the case, it looks exactly like the Frank Miller comic books and I can’t wait to see what him and Robert Rodriguez have planned for A Dame to Kill For.

Below, we have five character posters from the film that show off the most popular characters, and Joseph Gordon Levitt‘s made-up one. Don’t get me wrong, I love JGL; but why does he get thrown in to comic book movies as a character that’s never existed before? The Dark Knight Rises anyone?

Here’s a synopsis:

[box_light]Sin City: A Dame to Kill For weaves together two of Frank Miller’s classic stories with new tales in which the town’s most hard boiled citizens cross paths with some of its more repulsive inhabitants. In Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, Dwight is hunted down by the only woman he ever loved, Ava Lord, and then watches his life go straight to hell. Chronologically, this story takes place prior to “The Big Fat Kill” (featured in the film Frank Miller’s Sin City) and explains how Dwight came to have a dramatically different face.[/box_light]
