We’re finally getting a bit more Sin City news as we get closer to Sin City 2‘s August release date. Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller have finished directing the film and are working on post-production. We have a couple of new pictures from the film below, as well as Miller and Rodriguez’s talks for the future of the series!

In a recent interview on SiriusXM’s “Ron and Fez Show” (via The InterroBang), Rodriguez talking about how things are coming along with Sin City 2:

“Yeah—the second Sin City– I was just here with Frank Miller last night and we were watching it last night,” Rodriguez told Bennington. “[We] finished the cut, effects are being done, it will come out in August.”

He continued, “He [Miller] watched Part 2—he watched it last night with me and then at the end he said, he didn’t have any comments, he was very happy with it. And he said, now about part three…. Started telling me how he’s going to do part three. So he’s already there on part three.”

We’re also happy to share some new looks at some old friends. We get a look at Jessica Alba being all fine as Nancy, the new character that Joseph-Gordon Levitt is playing and Mickey Rourke returns as the menacing Marv.
