With Harrison Ford being layer up for 8 weeks as he recovers from his leg surgery, there were questions as to the production Star Wars Episode VII. It seems that things are business as usual on the J. J. Abrams-directed film, as two more casting additions have been made today.

pip anderson and crystal clarke

Disney has officially announced that Crystal Clarke and Pip Anderson have been added to the cast. No details as to the roles that the two will be playing, but there was a recent casting call for a for two characters named Rachel, a “beautiful, smart and athletic” 17-to-18-year-old woman, and Thomas, a “handsome, smart and athletic” 19-23-year-old man. Both names, seem super generic for Star Wars.

LucasFilm Presidnet, Kathleen Kennedy said in a statement,

“The Star Wars universe has always been about discovering and nurturing young talent and in casting Episode VII we wanted to remain absolutely faithful to this tradition. We are delighted that so many travelled to see us at the open casting calls and that we have been able to make Crystal and Pip a part of the film.”
