In case you didn’t realize this, Star Wars: Episode VII will be the biggest movie of next year. With a movie this large in scale and anticipation; it’s no wonder that director J. J. Abrams is deciding to shoot it in IMAX. While on the set in Abu Dhabi, Abrams tweeted a picture of him using the large format camera.

Star Wars Episode VII is written by Lawrence Kasdan and is directed by J. J. Abrams. The film is due out December 18th, 2015 and will star: John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong’o, Gweondoline Christie, Max von Sydow, Crystal Clarke, Pip Anderson, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker.
