We have a couple releases this week, starting with:

Glass

The final installment in Shyamalan’s, Glass, was something we were all excited for (considering his first Unbreakable was absolutely amazing, and Split was actually very good compared to all his horrible films in between.  Unfortunately, reviews for this were mediocre… I honestly don’t get how this guy can still make movies.  Regardless, I’ll be needing to judge on my own.  Available today on Blu-ray, DVD and 4K (including digital).

Replicas

Keanu Reaves stars in the film Replicas, and honestly, I didn’t even know this film existed.  Curious to watch though, so we’ll see.  Available on blu-ray and dvd.

Justice League vs the Fatal Five

On the animated side, we get Justice League vs the Fatal Five.  And while DC has been rocking it with their animated features, this one didn’t do so well.  Still might be fun to watch though.  Available on all formats including 4K.

The Karate Kid

Wrapping it up today with a classic, being released on 4K, for all its wipe on/wipe off clarity, The Karate Kid.  A classic for a reason, if you didn’t own this, here is a good time to grab it.

Till next week.

Towelite Talk Episode 176 – Towelite Yojimbo

Casey and Chris are BACK after a long rest at the Mos Barka Cantina. There was a lot of geeky news to drop and we even had our 8 year anniversary here at DFAT! Thanks to everyone for their support through the almost-decade and we can't wait to keep it going for years...

YOU choose if Robin lives or dies in ‘Batman: Death in the Family’!

Why fixed what's not broken? Well maybe to make it even better... I was surprised after DC ended it's "New 52" era of animated movies to embrace a new Rebirth if you will. I was even more surprised that they are going back to one of the best DC animated movies ever,...

8 years, 9600 articles, 192 podcast episodes, 60 cons, and a ton of memories!

Man, I can't even believe that its been 8 years since the inception of Don't Forget a Towel. Something created out of boredom and a love for geeky pop culture. We started at a time when there wasn't so many sites or heck, YouTube and podcasts weren't even close to...

Bugs Bunny’s 80th Birthday – A Look Back at the Icon

Gosh I feel old. Not as old as some of you old folk out there but old. Growing up Looney Toons, Merry Melodies and Bugs Bunny had some major influences on me and I was very happy to see Looney Toons back in the spotlight this year as the new episodes debuted on HBO...
