It’s been a good long while since we saw the adventures of Agents Mulder and Scully; but they’re finally back in 2016. The last two seasons of the X-Files were a little wonky, as was their most recent movie; but I have high hopes for their return. Check out the featurette below to see how the actors got back into the role and showrunner Chris Carter returned to his creepy and original sci-fi creation.
David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprise their iconic roles as Agent Fox Mulder and Agent Dana Scully in the upcoming event series which will encompass a mixture of stand-alone investigative episodes and those that further the original show’s seminal mythology. In the opening episode, Mulder and Scully take on a case of a possible alien abductee.
The X-Files has a two-night season premiere airing Sunday January 24 and Monday, January 25, 2016.
