It’s been five years since we saw the last Terminator film up on the big screen. The McG-directed film was a pretty big let down, and other than the appearance of Arnie, I couldn’t care less that it existed. That being said, I’m very excited about the prospect of Terminator: Genesis.
Alan Taylor (Thor 2) will be at the helm this time around, with a Arnold Schwarzenegger coming back as the role of The Terminator itself. Today, we’re excite that Skydance Productions has started filming and we have the first slate of the film below. Notice it has Taylor’s name as well as “R.I.P. Sarah”, which is part of the Slates for Sarah movement.

Terminator: Genesis will be directed by Alan Taylor and due out next year. The film stars: Emilia Clarke, Jai Courtney, Jason Clarke, and Arnold Schwarzenegger as The Terminator.
