IT’S BACK!!! Well it looks like the Terminator franchise is headed to television, again! I was just thinking about the Sarah Connor Chronicles the other day,  how much I liked the show and how it ended right as it was getting good. The new show will be tied into the upcoming film trilogy that will be directed by Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World, Game of Thrones) and written by Zack Stentz and Ashley Miller (Thor, X-Men First Class). Also attached, as executive producers, are Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier who will also write the first film. The premise of the trilogy is an interesting one, as it will feature Arnold Schwarzenegger as he reprises his role as the Terminator tasked to protect a young Sarah Connor from Skynet. Exactly how the TV show will tie into the film is unknown as of right now, but here is a little insight into the project:

[box_light]The TV series will follow a critical moment from the first Terminator film (1984) and, where the film’s story goes one way, the upcoming series will take the same moment in a completely different direction. As the rebooted film trilogy and the new TV series progress, the two narratives will intersect with each other in some surprising and dramatic ways.[/box_light]
