{UPDATED} This has been CONFIRMED by Sony as being the actual poster. Disregard all snarky comments below about this being fake. That being said, I still don’t think that Green Goblin should be revealed on this poster, it would have been more of a WHOA Factor if we just saw him in the film.

I’m going to tell you right now, that I don’t believe that the poster below is real. It’s a bad angle, of a blurry image, that a woman supposedly took while walking around Las Vegas. First, there would be more images of this poster around. Second, the first Amazing Spider-Man 2 poster would most likely be in New York City where the film takes place. Third, with the trailer dropping on  December 5th, it’s most likely we’ll see the ACTUAL poster there. Oh, and Fourth, I don’t think that the Green Goblin is going to make his true appearance in this film; but I could be wrong. Regardless of my mini-rant, it’s still a pretty cool poster.

Amazing Spider-Man 2 teaser poster

I am hoping The Rhino looks a bit less like the “Ultimate” version that’s in this poster, because I like the original version of the character. Green Goblin doesn’t have too clear of a look to him, but I believe that Electro is spot on in this poster to how Jamie Foxx will look in the upcoming film. Whomever made this poster is a genius and should at least be on Sony’s marketing department. We shall see on December 5th, if this is an actual real poster or not.

We also get word that the runtime of the trailer will be 2 minutes and 4 seconds, and if you’re a German fan, the movie is being called: The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Rise of Electro. Pretty shocking eh?

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 stars: Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Dane DeHaan, Jamie Foxx, Colm Feore, Paul Giamatti, Felicity Jones, Chris Cooper, and Sally Field. The Marc Webb directed sequel swings into theaters on May 2, 2014.
