Naughty Dog has officially announced it’s DLC pack for The Last of Us is going to come out on Febuary 14th. The DLC will be a prequel story featuring Ellie, before she meets Joel. Below, we have a reveal video, as well as some information on what to expect!

“Ellie returns as new light is shed on her relationship with Riley, her best  friend from the military boarding school they both grew up in,” reads the DLC’s  official blurb. “After inexplicably disappearing for weeks, Riley re-emerges in  Ellie’s life with a surprising revelation. The two sneak out of their school for  the last time, leading to a series of events that will forever change both of  their lives.”

“It’s definitely different. It’s a little bit more ‘fun’, because you have two  teenage girls going through a mall,” explained Ashley Johnson, who voices Ellie. “It’s kind of like a post-pandemic version of two teenage girls hanging  out.”

“There’s a bit of everything in there. You’re really getting a new  sense of the environment. You’ll engage in combat that seems familiar from the  original campaign, but there are some new touches and nuances, too.”
