There’s little debate that Gareth Evan‘s first film, The Raid, was one of the best martial arts movies to come out in…forever. It was super violent, had a good story, and star Iko Uwais was introduced as an all-around badass. Evans is hoping to recreate that lightening in a bottle with The Raid 2: Berandal; and we have the first footage from the film below. The film is said to take place 2 hours after the events of the first film, with Uwais’s character incarcerated and punching the crap out of his jail cell. Check out the bloody awesomeness below!
