I’ve been a huge fan of the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series since it debuted. I wasn’t a fan of the SHRED series with the weird plastic skateboard, but you had to give it up to Mr. Hawk, it was unlike anything else on the market. When the game had it’s big HD re-release last year, I immediately downloaded it and played it for hours. What’s next for the man who redefined the sport? Well, it looks like the next THPS game will be coming to mobile devices!
Tony Hawk confirmed that he will be collaborating with Activision once again, and bringing the unique skating experience to iOs and Android. You can hear him talk about it in the video below around the 4:15 mark.

Activision can confirm there is a Tony Hawk mobile game in development. The gameplay is all about tricks, using swipe maneuvers on the screen, and has the unmistakable look and feel of a Tony Hawk game.
There’s not an expected release date for the upcoming game, but I’m sure it’s something we can expect to see later on this year.
