Hey Towelites! We have a whole batch of new trailers and clips to share with you today! We’ve got two 80’s powerhouses escaping jail, animated food animals, and mythological sea beasts. Check out the goodies below!
First up, we have the official trailer for Escape Plan. The film stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvestor Stallone trying to escape a prison. It opens on September 20th.
I loved the first Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and knew they’d do a second one. This one only seems to improve on the first ones zaniness by adding ‘foodimals.’ I can’t wait to see what else is in store on September 27th. Check out the featurette below.
The first Percy Jackson movie was pretty amazing, and I’m hoping that lightning can strike twice for the follow-up. Given what I’ve seen from the trailer, they look like they’re doing a good job. Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters opens August 16th.
I’m not sure what to get from the trailer for The Counselor. It’s based off a book written by Cormac McCarthy (The Road, No Country for Old Men), it’s directed by Ridley Scott and it stars: Brad Pitt, Javier Bordem, and Michael Fassbender. The trailer is too short for me to fully know what’s going on, but it does feature a cheetah in it; so there’s that. It’s coming out November 15th.
Hell Baby. Well, it’s brought to you by Thomas Lennon and Ben Garant (Reno 911!); but it doesn’t look like their best work. It’s coming to Itunes in July, and to the theatres in September. I’m not too impressed.
Everything that I’ve seen from James Wan‘s, The Conjuring, has led me to believe that after I watch it; I won’t sleep again. This newest trailer isn’t helping. The film is out on July 19th.
Finally, in Prisoners, Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal try and track down a kidnapper. I don’t know if I’d go to theatres to see this film, but it looks pretty good. The film opens on September 20th.
