Not much coming out this week on blu-ray, but we do have a few worth mentioning at least.
The animated film Boxtrolls comes out today, and it definitely received good reviews. If I remember correctly, this one is actually being nominated at the Oscars.
Lucy also comes out today, starring Scarlett Johansson. This movie looked like it would be real interesting, but according to the majority of people who have seen it so far, not so much. I still wanna catch it, though I think this will be a rental for me.
The Drop, starring Tom Hardy and the late James Gandolfini also hits the stores today. I never new about this movie, and on top of it having to pretty decent actors, it looks like it got pretty decent reviews. So, this might be a good one to watch.
Last one worth mentioning is Annabelle, the horror film about a creepy doll. OOOooooooo, so scary and original. Didn’t do all that well in its theatre round, and reviews are not that good… how do they keep making these stupid movies?
