Hello everyone, and welcome to another week of releases.  We have some decent ones this week, and here they are.

Riddick comes out this week, starring Vin Diesel.  The 3rd film of the saga, this one received mediocre reviews.  I can’t judge, as I never found Pitch Black good enough to keep going with the movies.  And snippets of the 2nd one looked dumb.  But, those movies are rarely my style, so maybe it’s just me.  If you love them, here it is.  And if you super love them, get the full collection, which includes Pitch Black, Chronicles of Riddick, Dark Fury (animated movie) and Riddick.

The remake of Carrie comes out today, and I’m super looking forward to picking this one up.  1) Production values look really good for this.  2) Its one of Stephen Kings best stories.  3) I think Chloe Grace Moretz is awesome, and perfect for this role.  4) It actually received pretty good reviews.  So… can’t wait to see what this one!

Another great one this week is Lee Daniels’ The Butler.  Starring the amazing Forest Whitakerand the famous Oprah Winfrey, this film not only received amazing reviews, but I’m pretty sure it will be walking away with a handful of Oscars as well.

Finishing off the week is the 15th anniversary release of Buffalo 66.  Starring Vincent Gallo and Christina Ricci this is a classic film for the true film-lovers out there.  A quirky kind of romantic comedy that is unique and memorable.

That’s it for the week.  See you on the 21st for more releases!
