It will be the first time since 2008, that a Kevin Smith film will be getting a wide studio release. His upcoming horror flick, Tusk, has been picked up from A24 and Demarest Films. Smith recently stated that he wants to retire from filmmaking with Tusk and Clerks III being his last films. Let’s hope this film holds up better in the horror realm than Red State.
Tusk will star: Justin Long, Haley Joel Osmont, Genesis Rodriguez, and Michael Parks. Its due out in the last quarter of 2014.
