In only a couple of weeks, the next installment of the Batman Arkham series will hit stores and we can’t wait. Well NYCC hosted a great panel for the game and it featured Eric Holmes (Creative Director for WB Games Montreal), Erin Piepergerdes (Producer for NetherRealm Studios), Troy Baker (voice actor of The Joker), and Roger Craig Smith (voice actor of Batman). Troy Baker even did his awesome Joker voice and spewed lines from The Killing Joke! The fifth assassin was announced during the panel as well, Electrocutioner, who will be voiced by Steve Blum (Cowboy Bebop). Three more to go! Check out his intro trailer below!

Batman Arkham Origins Electrocutioner

Also be on the look out for a mobile game coming soon from WB Games Montreal will be teaming up once again with NetherRealm Studios, who gave us Injustice: Gods Among Us,  to bring the game to the iOS platform sometime later this year!

Batman: Arkham Origins will be available on PC, PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360 on October 25, 2013.

[box_light]Batman: Arkham Origins features an expanded Gotham City and introduces an original prequel storyline occurring several years before the events of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City. Taking place before the rise of Gotham City’s most dangerous villains and assassins, the game showcases a young, raw, unrefined Batman as he faces a defining moment in his early career as a crime fighter that sets his path to becoming the Dark Knight. As the story unfolds, witness identities being formed and key relationships being forged.[/box_light]

Stay tooned 😛
