I’ve always wanted to know what it would be like to fight off hordes of the undead. Whether I’d be using a crossbow, or a machete, or some sort of punji-stick scenaro to trap an unsuspecting zombies with. Whichever the case, it hasn’t happened yet, so I use video games to get out my zombie-killing urges.
Lucky for me, Deep Silver, has me covered in its sequel to it’s popular Dead Island series, Dead Island: Riptide. Below, is footage of gameplay. It’s pretty great in that it shows some excellent base-building skills that most zombie games don’t have. You can set turrets, use landmines to blow up in a zombie’s face and even set up fences to block away upcoming hordes. The trailer below shows off all the great new action!
Dead Island: Riptide will be due out April 23rd, 2013.
