It’s almost here Towelites! Injustice: Gods Among Us from DC Comics, WB Games, and NetherRealm Studios hits stores on Tuesday! In fact a lot of Gamestops are participating in the midnight launch for the game. My local store will be holding a tournament for the game prior to the release and will be awarding gift cards to the winner(s). Sounds like a plan! As you all know I’ve been hyping this game for a long time, probably since its announcement, and I am eagerly anticipating getting my collector’s edition and all the goodies that go with it, including the awesome statue that will be taking its place on my shelf! There will also be an online event happening over on Twitch TV, in congruence with the release of the game. The Injustice Battle Arena LIVE FINALE will be featured and they’ve got some exciting plans for the event, including:
– Giveaways, including the Injustice game & comic!
– The first DLC Character Announcement! Here are my speculations: Hawkman, Black Canary, Black Manta, and Red Hood (Too Many Good Guys on my list, I think). Will we see Darkseid? Yes I think as the overall villain as per DC vs Mortal Kombat. But that may be too easy.
– The winner of the Batman vs. Superman match-up – & more!
