The day of pranks and tasteless jokes is almost over. We are, however, here to give you this week’s new releases, which are all very real and very genuine.
Last week, Gearbox announced (finally) that Borderlands 3 was a real thing and was coming out. The game trailer itself promised a kind of ‘greatest hits’ concept by bringing back many of the series’ characters and introducing us to new ones.
But, it’s not coming out this week. Because Gearbox loves its fans and gives them what they want (something EA could learn from), they’re re-releasing Borderlands and Borderlands 2 as remastered GOTY editions.
This week’s will be Borderlands. The edition will bring new content and improvements over the original game, such as an in-game mini map.
PC players who already own the games will receive the new edition as a free update, and anyone who purchases the game after the update will just have everything, so it’s a win-win.
We Happy Few has some new content this week as well in Roger & James in They Came from Below. The expansion is part of the Season Pass ($19.99) and also available for $7.99 on its own. The content is an adventure with, you guessed it, Roger and James as they try to stop robot invaders and locate Dr. Faraday.
