Yet another abysmal weekend at the Box Office. I’m not really sure if everyone had spent their hard earned cash in 2012 and didn’t wanna be bothered with anything this year, or the movies are really THAT bad. I, for one, thought that Jack the Giant Slayer was a huge waste of time anyway; but that ended up taking the top spot anyway.

The horrible CGI-fest beat out other newcomers, 21 & Over and The Last Exocrism II, with it’s $28mil opening. 21 & Over only raked in $9mil, whilst Exorcism brought in only $8mil. Both of those were behind Identity Thief which was at the #2 position. The rest of the Top 10 were just as horrible and not even worth mentioning.

Hopefully Sam Raimi’s, Oz the Great and Powerful, will redeem the Box Office with a strong opening weekend. Hollywood needs it.
