Captain America: Winter Soldier takes the top spot at the Box Office for the third weekend in a row. The Disney and Marvel film is kicking butt and taking names, with another $26.2mil, bringing it’s Domestic total to $201mil! While Cap and friends don’t seem to be slowing down any time soon, the birds in Rio 2 were able to snag the 2nd spot with another $22.7mil added to their box office records!

Newcomers, Transcendence and A Haunted House 2 didn’t fair as well. With totals of $12mil and $8.8mil, respectively, they didn’t come close to Cap or Rio even if they combined their totals. Both films opened to horrid reviews and most people who saw Johnny Depp’s dreadlocks in the film, ran in fear.

Next week, we have three new movies: The Other Woman, Quiet Ones, and Paul Walker’s posthumous release of Brick Mansions. I’m not sure that any will be able to dethrone Cap 2. I think that honor will go to The Amazing Spider-Man 2 on May 2nd. We’ll see how things shake out next week on DFAT and let you know!
