It’s coming to an end.
Well, The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series is. After several seasons, the closing of the studio that was making it, the post apocalyptic survival game based on the show is fading to black. Basically everyone who survived the Telltale Games implosion is a winner here, but someone is going to have to die. From the looks of the trailer, “Take Us Back” is going to be a tear jerker.
Moving along to more light-hearted fare, The Princess Guide, a Japanese game, comes out for PS4 and Switch. You’re a seasoned knight tasked with the care and training of princesses. Each represents a different part of your fictional world and how your guidance shapes them will determine how the story ends.
Finally, Yoshi’s Crafted World is out on the Switch. Borrowing the aesthetic magic of Kirby’s Epic Yarn, Yoshi’s back. Conspicuously absent is our wee Mario and friends, but many of the elements we know and love/loathe from the Yoshi’s Island games have returned for our enjoyment. The game also offers co-opability, so your friends and family members can also get in on the fun.
Is it just me or are Switch owners winners more often than the rest of us? They not only get great console games, but also get a ton of games that were previously PC only.
