His life is like a long slumber. His actions merely the uncomfortable tossing and turning in the dead of night. At work he often finds himself wandering parts of the office that he had never been to before. Not quite sure how long from his post he’s been. He’s not really sure how he feels about anything anymore, least of all the cesspool he calls a place of employment.

New artist on board. I always dug when comics pull in new artists every arc. Exposes the public to new artists. I support that. Anyway, new antagonist in the Archie-verse, well, two antagonists, but I mean who’s counting.

Really impressed with this arc. The last issue was pretty damn intense, it showed a side of the Bat that we don’t really see very often. The preparation, and failure of the hero. It was great. Seriously, read this one.

Dammit this comic is fun. I mean, the idea of every country having an ambassador on a transcontinental train is a little far fetched, but so is everything else in comic books, so screw it.

This comic is sad. Not in the same way that most are, with your favorite characters dying, or intense decisions. This one is a sort of melancholic sadness. The realization that you are unfamiliar with regular life, that you can never be “normal”. That kind of sad.
Uncanny Inhumans #15 (Marvel)

I seriously love the Quiet Room. I think it is one of the most interesting concepts in Marvel Comics. The fact that it works as a diplomatic hub for the entire universe means we can get strange glimpses into the inner working of everything. It also leads to some pretty unexpected team-up moments.

Not gonna lie. The first issue of this comic made me a little emotional. I cannot wait to see the beautifully rendered world outside of life. We only caught a glimpse of it and already I’m stunned. Chalk another film idea up to Millar. I give it five years before we hear it’s being adapted.

If you liked Alias, the comic not the show with Jennifer Garner, but also maybe the show or the other show based on the comic, then you should read this comic. They left off exactly where the first series ended. It’s tonally perfect and makes me crazy happy, Alias is one of my favorite comics, this does not disappoint.

This may very well be one of the best comics I’ve ever read. It’s heart breaking, action packed, and heart breaking. Did I say that? It breaks your heart. This comic needs to be on your radar if you enjoy the medium. If you don’t enjoy the medium, first off, why are you reading this? Second, I have something to show you.
One night he dreamed of finding a secret alcove in a cubicle on one of his aimless journeys. Inside the cave, there was a beautiful beach. The beach looked suspiciously like one he had seen on a postcard for Fiji. When he woke up, he found himself at his cubicle, having skipped the short trip home for the night. With some new purpose, he wandered into a new part of the office, one that he had never seen before, which is odd for a few reasons. One, he had wandered every inch of the office for almost fifteen years now, and two, he was on the thirteenth floor, a long way from any new additions they may be building. It was dark, and foggy, which would be the third weird thing, but that didn’t stop him. He continued until he found a strange hole. A familiar hole.
