EA and DreamWorks are bringing the popular car racing video game franchise, Need For Speed, to life. Directed by Scott Waugh (Act of Valor), the film will star Aaron Paul as a guy who gets released from prison and tracks down the people who put him there. The film is based off the game, Need For Speed: The Run.
The featurette below shows that they want to focus on fast cars and cars that flip over, and it all looks very generic. We shall see when the film comes out next year.
Need For Speed will be released March 14th, 2014. It also stars: Dominic Cooper, Ramon Rodriguez, Rami Malek, Imogen Poots, Dakota Johnson, and Scott Mescudi.
