Stop me if you heard this one before… Ol’ McDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-O. Do you want to hear how he did it? Well that’s a story for another day. Here’s what I’m reading this week…

Heroes in Crisis #8 (of 9) (DC) – The killer has been revealed and we are almost at the end of our story. You know unless it gets delayed or three more issues are added on. For the most part I have enjoyed what this story represents and I look forward to concluding those feelings next month.

Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge #1 (Marvel) – Step one: Read all about it. Step Two: Go there and experience. Step Three: NEVER COME HOME. Oh hey! Do you want some insight into the upcoming Star Wars theme park at Disney? Of course you do!

Star Trek Year 5 #1 (IDW) – The adventures of the fifth year of Captain Kirk’s five year mission will be written by a round-table of authors including Brandon Easton, Jody Houser, Jim McCann and the team of Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing. I’m mostly here for the Greg Hildebrandt variant cover.

Fantastic Four #9 (Marvel) – Doctor Doom never rests and I’m ok with it. One of the few Marvel titles I read outside of Star Wars and there’s a reason behind that, like Doctor Doom. The Doctor is in.

Punk Mambo #1 (of 5) (Valiant) – Cullen Bunn joins the indie publisher in one of my most anticipated books of the year. Forget all the cool variants, including the flocked hair one (it’s not as gross as it sounds), and go read what may be a great jumping on point for you if you aren’t familiar with Valiant Comics! Do you like voodoo priestesses? Of course you do!

Freedom Fighters #5 (of 12) (DC) – Venditti and Barrows continue their epic maxi-series and now that Uncle Sam is awake some Nazis need a good stomping!

Action Comics #1010 (DC) – People can say what they want about Bendis. I’ve had my words but I’ll say this, I am happy that he is spreading his wings over at DC. Anything related to ‘Leviathan Rising’ is on the top of my stack and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

*Honorable Mentions*

(AKA What I would also like to read but is outta budget)

Jughead the Hunger vs Vampironica #1 (Archie Comics) – We were just talking about how much fun all of these titles are and that we are glad that a whole new generation of readers have caught on to Archie. I’m mostly happy because we get wack-ass titles like this one. Love it.

Firefly #5 (Boom!) – Greg Pak on Firefly? I’ll have to catch this one in collected form but for you out there who have been reading the latest series about our favorite Serenity crew, do you like it?

Fight Club 3 #4 (Dark Horse) – Another book I will have to read in collected form, that’s how I read part 2. Nonetheless, looking forward to whatever mind-fuckery Chuck Palahniuk has come up with to fill these pages.

Dial H for Hero #2 (of 6) (DC) – Sam Humphries is the man and you should all know that. Great personality, fun writer and all around cool guy. I picked up the first issue of this and though I will be waiting to read it as a whole, I’m not saying you have to!

Naomi #1-3 FINAL PRINTING VARIANT COVERS (DC) – Finally today, if you are a comic investor then you know what has happened lately with the price of the first run of Naomi comics. These books are hot and they are hard to come by at a decent price, BUT that doesn’t mean don’t read them! The final printing variants are now out so if you are a physical media person get on it. Otherwise go download yourself some good reading. Thank you Bendis.

PSA: READ. YOUR. COMICS. Go now.

THE MUSIC OF DISHONORED SNEAKS ONTO DELUXE VINYL BOX SET

Honestly, never played a Dishonored game. Definitely not against one but just didn't get around to it. That being said, I've been a fan of the composing work of Daniel Licht (Silent Hill, Dexter) for a long time and I'm excited that Laced Records has teamed up with...

I devoured the first season of Attack on Titan the likes of which I rarely see. And then the next seasons just didn't show up on Netflix and I've been left wanting. So, here comes the final season and I may need to download crunchyroll because what I've witnessed...
