The Eternal Warrior is one of my favorite Valiant characters and unfortunately we don’t get to see him too often. Mostly our timeless hero shows up for big events like The Valiant or Book of the Dead, this time around Tama the Geomancer faces her greatest threat yet and her protector, Gilad, will have to do everything he can to save her AND the Earth. Incursion is the latest mini-series from Valiant Entertainment and it is written by Andy Diggle (Shadowman) and Alex Paknadel (Friendo) with art by Doug Braithwaite (X-O Manowar). Diggle has been exploring the Deadside a lot in his current run of Shadowman so it will be interesting to see if he ties anything in with Incursion. The art is stellar as usual when it comes to Brathwaite and I am always happy to see him attached to Valiant titles. A new villain rises in this series, Imperatrix Virago, who threatens the entire planet so you know the stakes will be high! I have really been looking forward to this series and the first issue did not disappoint! Incursion #1 hits comics shops on February 20th so you still have time to get your orders in!
