The director of Fate of the Furious (and numerous other amazing films) will be taking on the latest 80’s cartoon property to be ‘transformed’ into a big budget movie. F. Gary Gray, also remember he directed the fun car movie The Italian Job, has been hired by Hasbro/Paramount to take on M.A.S.K., Matt Tracker fanboys rejoice! Gray obviously knows how to have fun with cars in movies and his other directing chops give me little worry about his handling of the project.
With Hasbro being involved you know we will get plenty of collectibles based on the film. I hope that there are some more adult friendly cars and figures made, not too many. I would probably drop some dough on a 6″ scale Matt Tracker and Thunderhawk. Just sayin…
No date has been announced for the M.A.S.K. movie and remember that this is part of the planned “shared universe”. Keep it tooned to DFAT for updates as they come!
