Haven is having an outbreak of epic proportions. Vince and Dave’s road trip has gotten the attention of the CDC. Something the Scooby gang knows will end in disaster. Dr. Charlotte Cross from the CDC is looking for Dave. She has questions about his wound on his leg. Dwight tries every possible way to dissuade Dr. Cross that his wound is nothing to be alarmed about. Things go from bad to worse in a matter of hours when the Troubles are getting deathly ill. Everybody is on edge trying to figure out what is going on and how they can hide this from the CDC.
The Good
- The minute Dr. Cross entered the picture; it is demolition derby from the beginning. Everybody from Dwight to Duke is being hit from all sides trying to get ahead of this epidemic, and how to contain it.
- There are some comical parts when Nathan is trying to subdue a large dancing bear in the streets. It is kind of comical to watch.
- Jason Priestly who reprises his role with the Charm Trouble is hilarious as he tries to brainwash Dr. Cross that Dave’s wound is nothing serious, but then Dwight gets some of Jason’s Trouble starts to get all giddy from Jason’s curse.
- The scope of the panic and outbreak is huge, and that makes this episode so exciting to watch.
- Only the Troubles are infected, and their curse can get triggered unexpectedly.
- The tension between Dwight and Duke explode about their use of tactics to deal with this contagion.
- Mara’s predictions to what is going to happen if the military get a hold of her and Duke is coming true, and Duke is starting to believe her.
The Bad
- The Trouble of the week is a little weak, Dancing Bears, I mean come on.
It’s a very good episode, I hope that Dwight can convince Dr. Cross to help them and not quarantine them like lab rats. The tension is high all over Haven. The one question nobody can answer yet is who is causing this outbreak? We know who is causing the Dancing bears, but someone is making the Trouble contagiously sick. Next week concludes this two part episode.
