2016 marks the 30th anniversary of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Not only is it one of the best films of the 80s, it’s also my favorite John Hughes films. It completely holds up even to this day and it’s pop cultural impact is unprecedented. In order to celebrate this cinematic masterpiece, Ferris Fest is coming to Chicago this Summer. Details are below.
2016 marks the 30th anniversary of FERRIS BUELLER’S DAY OFF, released in theatres on June 11, 1986.
And to celebrate this milestone in the same city where Ferris, Sloan and Cameron ditched school and decided to live a little couldn’t be any more choice!
That’s why we’ve decided to put together a special weekend event that will feature a screening of the movie in a uniquely John Hughes-centric spot with stars of the film in attendance for a special Q&A, a tour of all the filming locations, musical guests and more!
