Marvel has official announced that the beautiful Rosario Dawson (Sin City(s), Clerks 2) has signed on to play a “young woman trying to make things better in Hell’s Kitchen” in Marvel’s Daredevil. Dawson’s character will be featured in all 13 episodes of the upcoming Netflix and Marvel Studios collaboration.
Rosario Dawson is one the most charismatic, talented and powerful actresses in Hollywood, so she was always at the top of our list for ‘Marvel’s Daredevil,’” said Jeph Loeb, Marvel’s Head of Television. “Her role in the series is absolutely critical to Matt Murdock’s journey to become the hero we know as Daredevil.
Daredevil is part of a FIVE individual series adventures that also includes Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, which will all lead into a team-up miniseries called The Defenders! Dawson joins Charlie Cox, who is playing the titular character’s alter-ego, Matt Murdock.
