I just can’t get behind this whole Sony ‘Spider-Verse’, the idea just seems inane and a desperate cash grab. The newest Venom trailer starring Tom Hardy is below and it’s a step up from the early Sony films in the 2000s. The CGI is OK, the acting is pretty deplorable, and the writing is garbage. I’m really just hoping it’s the studio not knowing how to cut a trailer but this film, so far, does NOTHING for me as a Spider-Man fan, a Venom fan, or a comic book movie fan.

Venom is due out on October 5th.
