The Avengers: Endgame train just keeps chugging along at an accelerated pace. The film has earned another $63 million and pushed it’s domestic Box Office total to $723M. That’s beating out Black Panthers $700M and making it the 3rd highest domestic Box Office of all-time behind Avatar ($760M) and a long ways away from The Force Awakens ($936M). Overall, the movie has earned over $2.4 Billion and puts it well on its way to overtake Avatar in the #1 spot at $7.6B.

The newcomer of the week came from Detective Pikachu, which had a great debut with $58 million. This put the film at the highest opening for a video game movie, ever. I think the film has a lot of legs still and will go on to earn a ton based off of audience reviews. The rest of the Top Ten is below.

1.Avengers: Endgame    $63,054,000

2.Pokemon Detective Pikachu $58,000,000

3.The Hustle $13,536,298

4.The Intruder    $6,600,000

5.Long Shot    $6,125,000

6.Poms  $5,110,000

7.UglyDolls     $3,920,000

8.Breakthrough       $2,466,000

9.Tolkien $2,153,000

10.Captain Marvel       $1,813,000

Next week, we have the debut of John Wick 3: Parabellum. After re-watching the first two again over the weekend, it makes me super excited to see how this third movie is gonna go. I don’t know if it can take down The Avengers, but it’ll make the Top Five next week for sure. Find out if I’m right in the next edition of Weekend Roundup!
