I’ve been a fan of Charles Schulz‘s ‘Peanuts‘ characters for as long as I can remember. The music from A Charlie Brown Christmas is a staple during the holidays and I make references to the horn voices of the adults on the show on a regular basis. His legacy and the characters will live on forever, and they are going to keep their staying power by being featured in, The Peanutes Movie; an all new CGI-animated film.

The first trailer for for the animated film is shown below and looks like it captures the tone of the original 2D animated films. It’s also great that they got the voices right and that it’s keeping with the tone of the comics and television specials. Check it out below and enjoy all the fuzzy feelings.

In PEANUTS, a 3D, CGI animated comedic adventure, Snoopy, the world’s most lovable beagle – and flying ace! – embarks upon his greatest mission as he and his team take to the skies to pursue their arch-nemesis, while his best pal Charlie Brown begins his own epic quest back home .

The Peanuts Movie will be directed by Steve Martino (Horton Hears a Who) and is being released on November 6th, 2015. Blue Sky Studios will be releasing the film to go along with their other hit animated films: Horton Hears a Who, Rio, and Ice Age.
