Swamp Thing is always one of those really weird fringe characters in DC. He worked great for Alan Moore. Showed up as a Wes Craven movie and a television show in the 80s, and then disappeared for a long time other than in comics. Now he’s back in a big way thanks to James Wan and the DC Universe.

SWAMP THING follows Abby Arcane as she investigates what seems to be a deadly swamp-born virus in a small town in Louisiana but soon discovers that the swamp holds mystical and terrifying secrets. When unexplainable and chilling horrors emerge from the murky marsh, no one is safe. Based on the DC characters originally written and drawn by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson. A new original series #DCUSWAMPTHING premieres May 31. New episodes weekly, only on DC Universe.

Swamp Thing makes a splash on May 31st on the DC Universe.
