The reign of Deadpool had to come to an end at some point, and this was the Weekend; with the Box Office winner going to Zootopia. Disney’s newest animated film nabbed the #1 spot with $73.7mil and it also broke records as the biggest Disney Animated Film opening of all-time. The previous record was held by Frozen, who premiered at $67mil.
The rest of the Top Ten didn’t fare as well, but luckily for Gerard Butler, his film London Has Fallen took in $21.mil; which is far better than Gods of Egypt, a film that has flopped on almost every level. The other Box Office debut was Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, which took the 4th spot and earned $7.6mil. You can see the rest of the Top Ten below.

Next weekend, should see Zooptopia taking in another week of winning, but it will have some competition. 10 Cloverfield Lane and The Brothers Grimsby both make their debut; but they are appealing to entirely different demographics and I doubt that the Disney film has much to worry about.
