After just watching Creed this past weekend, I couldn’t be more excited to hear about Ryan Coogler being confirmed to direct Black Panther. The man knows how to use a camera and his unique style is certainly going to fit the Marvel Cinematic Universe well.
“We are fortunate to have such an esteemed filmmaker join the Marvel family,” said producer Kevin Feige. “The talents Ryan showcased in his first two films easily made him our top choice to direct ‘Black Panther.’ Many fans have waited a long time to see Black Panther in his own film, and with Ryan we know we’ve found the perfect director to bring T’Challa’s story to life.”
You’ll be able to get your first look at the character in action in Civil War, due out this May. Black Panther is slated to hit theaters on Febuary 16th, 2018 and star Chadwick Boseman.
