With great sadness we report that actor John Hurt has passed away at today at the age of 77. In 2015 Hurt was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Hurt is remembered for his roles in movies such as Alien, The Elephant Man, Harry Potter, Hellboy 1 and 2, V For Vendetta, Indiana Jones 4 and many, many more. NOT forgetting to mention lending his narrative voice time and time again.
We live in a “funny” time where a lot of our favorite stars are passing. 2016 was a real drag but I think it is something that we need to prepare for. No other generation(s) have been connected to our pop culture stars like we are. Especially these days with things like Twitter and other social medias. We are more than lucky to have been able to experience the careers of these talented individuals and that is something we should remember in their passing.
