If you’re like me, you grew up in a time where Nickelodeon was filled with amazing programming like Clarissa Explains It All, Doug, You Can’t Do That On Television, and above all, Are You Afraid of the Dark? It was a Canadian-based show that was before Goosebumps and much scarier. Kids from ‘The Midnight Society’ would sit around a fire and tell ghost stories. They ranged from science fiction, to fantasy, to straight up horror; and most of them were pretty good.
One amazing Redditor compiled all of the episodes HERE for you to take a look at. Below, I’m including an episode I probably haven’t seen in 20 years and it scared the crap outta me when I was a kid. I call this story ‘The Tale of the Super Specs’.
