It has been awhile since we have heard any word on if the DC movie and TV universes would be brought together under one umbrella like Marvel Studios. Since Arrow is the best thing DC has under their belt right now it would make a lot of sense to do so, but at one point Executive Producer Greg Berlanti, told Fandango “We haven’t had any of those conversations other than to say, what characters are we allowed to use this year and advocate or request certain ones that are of interest to us. And every now and then, they’ll say, ‘You can’t have that guy.’ They don’t say why, and we figure out why later on.” But now, star Stephen Amell has other word to say on the possibilities of him teaming up with the likes of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. Amell in a recent interview told Fandango“I have had discussions, but I think the gestation process for this project is a lot slower than most people think. I mean, they haven’t even shot the next one. They haven’t even shot a frame of the movie before the movie everyone thinks is the Justice League movie!”. Whatever does happen regarding team-up, Warner Bros and DC would be making a big mistake not incorporating the show into the movies being that it is a huge success! All of this was proven false today by Amell as he reacted to the story exploding across the interwebs. Amell had the following to say on his official Facebook, “When I do press, I try and be open, honest and thoughtful. That being said… I find it incredibly discouraging to see a headline like the ones I’ve been seeing this morning. Headlines that aren’t just a stretch, they’re totally fabricated. At no point, have I had “studio level” discussions about any feature films at Warner Bros.” You can read more of his reaction over there.

So what’s the deal with Arrow and Sebastian Blood teaming up?! What will happen when Laurel comes asking our hero to help her prove there’s something off with Blood? What will happen when Arrow takes on Brother Blood?! All of these questions and more will be answered! I can’t wait for Ollie to realize that Slade is in Starling City and I wonder if we will see a showdown this season or not. We obviously will be seeing the “new” Deathstroke at some point and by the looks of the preview for this week’s episode “Blind Spot” it will be tonight! Well to hold you over until tonight here are a couple of clips featuring Roy dealing with his new “power” and Slade hating on Blood.

[box_light]ARROW TEAMS UP WITH LAUREL TO FIND THE MAN IN THE MASK — Oliver (Stephen Amell) is conflicted after Laurel (Katie Cassidy) reaches out to the Arrow asking him to investigate Sebastian Blood (guest star Kevin Alejandro). Oliver is unsure whether to believe her accusations against the man he has publically supported for mayor, but decides to trust Laurel. However, when the pair gets too close to the truth, Sebastian exposes Laurel’s drug addiction and has her arrested. Meanwhile, Roy (Colton Haynes) reveals his new super-strength to Sin (guest star Bex Taylor-Klaus) who wants to test out his abilities. Unfortunately, Roy isn’t able to contain his rage once unleashed and almost kills a man. Back on the island, Oliver is surprised when Sarah (guest star Caity Lotz) reveals a secret about Laurel. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Beth Schwartz.[/box_light]
