Ed Brubaker’s Captain America: Winter Soldier Arc is one of my favorite comic book arcs of all time. There was a time when fans could boldly say: “Only two characters ever stay dead in the comics, Jason Todd and Bucky.”, ironically enough, they were wrong. But who cares, we got two INTERESTING characters by breaking the laws. Enter Marvel Studios, enter Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

For the most part, I have a hard time pointing out anything negative during a viewing of the Captain America: The First Avenger.  The script was touched up by Joss Whedon, Chris Evans delivered, and Hugo Weaving, a masterpiece. Now after casting Anthony Mackie (The Hurt Locker) as Cap’s sidekick Sam Wilson, The Falcon, Marvel is looking to possibly/hopefully be introducing Sharon Carter. In the funny books, Sharon Carter is a high-ranking SHIELD agent, and carries the code name Agent 13, BUT she  is also Steve Rogers love interest. Carter is also the niece of Peggy Carter, who Hayley Atwell portrayed in the original. Anna Kendrick (Up in the AirThe Twilight Saga), Felicity Jones (Cemetery JunctionLike Crazy) and Imogen Poots (Fright Night28 Weeks Later) The casting of this character would make a lot of sense, and I am hopeful; yet forever cynic. Captain America: The Winter Soldier hits US soil on April 4th, 2013!

Thanks to Mania for the heads up
