I’ve been a big fan of the Mission: Impossible series since the first film, and the last two directed by J. J. Abrams and Brad Bird have only made the franchise stronger. Christopher McQuarrie is helming the new one, and it’s getting a mysterious new title. The film will be called Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation and from the trailer below, it looks like the IMF team and Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) are going to be taking on an entire cell of bad guys. Looks insane!

Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation is directed by Christopher McQuarrie (Jack Reacher) and opens in IMAX and traditional theaters on July 31st. The film stars:  Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Jeremy Renner, Rebecca Ferguson, Sean Harris, Simon McBurney, and Alec Baldwin.
