The episode starts off with a woman in a surgical mask stabbing another woman to death. This killing brings Constantine, Zed, and Chas to New Orleans and puts them in contact with Detective Jimmy Corrigan (Emmett Scanlan). They must also stop a killer who is a hitchhiker who is killing travelers.

The Good:

  • A new spin on the classic ‘woman in white’ ghost story with the boy hitchhiker
  • Chas is pretty funny and a good companion, it’s too bad he’s shrouded in mystery as well.
  • I enjoy the return of Papa Midnite. Michael James Shaw brings a good presence to the role and is very powerful in front of the camera

The Bad:

  • They never really explain how Constantine has money. At least with Sam and Dean Winchester on Supernatural you know they hack people’s credit cards or just rob someone.
  • Constantine points out the fact that we don’t really know where Zed comes from and we still know little about her
  • Someone is going to betray Joh, but whom?
  • Overall this felt like a very weak episode. It didn’t add much the overall story and as a one-off episode I just didn’t care enough
