I’ll admit that I’ve always been more of a Freddy fan than a Jason Voorhees one. I liked that Freddy could quip about his kills, whereas Jason was a brutal killer fueled by pure evil. Though, Freddy will always be my favorite, I still love the Friday the 13th series. Danniel Ferrands and Thommy Hutson are also pretty huge fans of the hockey-masked killer, because their collaborating again on a definitive documentary about all things Friday the 13th.
Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th will chronicle all the Jason films into a 4 hour documentary. Ferrands and Hutson had previously come together to make the penultimate Nightmare on Elm Street documentary, Never Sleep Again; which was an 8hour long film of pure brilliance.
You can begin to pre-order Crystal Lake Memories on July 8th, while the film will officially be released on August 27th, 2013.
