We didn’t get a chance to check out the panel for David S. Goyer’s (Blade Series, Dark Knight Trilogy) latest work, Da Vinci’s Demons, at NYCC; but as we’ve been long time fans of his work, I wish we would have. What we have below is a trailer for his upcoming Starz TV series. The show will start in Spring of 2013 and stars Tom Riley and Lara Pulver. Given it’s from Goyer and the footage; it looks like it will be pretty spooktacular.
Synopsis: the series follows the “untold” story of Leonardo Da Vinci: the genius during his early years in Renaissance Florence. As a 25-year old artist, inventor, swordsman, lover, dreamer and idealist, he struggles to live within the confines of his own reality and time as he begins to not only see the future, but invent it.
