Matt Reeves and company are in full production on the set of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Today, we have a look at Andy Serkis on top of a horse, as the lead ape, Caesar. I can’t wait to see where they take this series, and with Reeves behind the camera, they look to continue in the great direction that Rupert Wyatt started them off at. Take a look at the picture and the official synopsis for the film below!
Here’s the official synopsis for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes:
A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
The film also stars Jason Clarke, Keri Russell, Gary Oldman, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Kirk Acevedo, Toby Kebbell, Enrique Murciano, and Judy Greer. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes opens on May 23, 2014.
