Remember when we were all subjected to Ryan Reynolds playing Wade Wilson a.k.a. Deadpool, in Wolverine: Origins? No? You forced that movie into the dark bowels of the underworld? Yeah, me too. Regardless of the movies interpretation of Deadpool being an abomination, the parts where he wasn’t a Baraka-looking beast were pretty true to the character, and pretty cool.
In 2012, director-Tim Miller decided to make a test roll for Fox and and we have never seen that footage, until today. Below, you can see the pitch to Fox with Ryan Reynolds voicing the character. Put Ray Park in that suit and Reynolds as the voice and I think we’d have a pretty amazing movie based off the footage below.
